1Overview
The Cambodia tourist eVisa is a single-entry electronic visa for tourism and leisure, allowing a stay of up to 30 days.
It does not cover business, work, study or living in Cambodia; business travel needs the separate Type E eVisa.
Who needs it
- Needed by travellers who are not from visa-free countries (for example the US, UK, Canada, EU states and Australia).
- Nationals of the nine ASEAN states are exempt for tourism (typically 14-30 days visa-free) but need a visa for business.
- Every traveller needs their own eVisa; a child on a parent's passport must be added to the parent's application.
2Requirements
- PassportValid at least 6 months from the arrival date
- Passport-sized photo
- Email addressA valid address
Important to know
- Common rejection causes are mismatched passport numbers and poor-quality photos.
- Visa on arrival is an alternative at major airports and land crossings.
- Overstaying costs about 10 USD per day; long overstays can lead to detention, deportation and an entry ban.
- The Cambodia e-Arrival card is a separate requirement, mandatory for air arrivals, to be completed within 7 days before arrival.
