1Overview
The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is an arrival declaration covering identity, trip, accommodation and a health declaration for one arrival. It replaced the paper TM6 card.
It is not a visa, grants no right of entry and sets no length of stay; your visa or visa-exemption stamp on arrival determines that. It does not authorize work.
Who needs it
- Every non-Thai traveler entering by air, land or sea needs it, including visa-exempt visitors.
- Infants and children need their own card, filed by a parent or guardian.
- Travelers who stay only in the international transit area without clearing immigration do not need it.
2Requirements
- PassportValid at least 6 months from arrival
- Flight detailsFlight number and arrival date
- AccommodationFirst-night hotel name and street address
- Email addressA valid email address
Important to know
- Typical errors: passport number mismatch, name typos (names must match the machine-readable zone) and wrong arrival date.
- There is no approval or denial step; it is a declaration.
- Late or missing submission may lead to denied boarding or delays at immigration.
- Thailand Pass, the COVID-era registration, is no longer used.

Your exact total, in US dollars, is shown at the last step of the form before you pay. You may also apply directly on the official portal (Thai government TDAC portal: tdac.immigration.go.th (you can also submit directly)) at no service charge.
6After approval
- You receive a PDF confirmation with a QR code by email.
- Show the QR code on your phone or a printed copy at immigration; no sticker is needed.
- Name, passport number, nationality and date of birth cannot be corrected after submission, so a mistake needs a new card.
- It cannot be reused or extended; a new card is needed for every entry, and longer stays need a visa extension at a local Thai immigration office.
