1Overview

The Aruba ED (Embarkation-Disembarkation) Card is the online immigration form every traveler completes before flying to Aruba. It is a health and security declaration, not a visa.

It covers visits for leisure, sport, health, family, study, religious purposes or business.

Who needs it

  • Every traveler arriving by air needs it, regardless of nationality or visa-exempt status; newborns and children each need their own card.
  • Cruise passengers may not need one depending on whether they clear Aruban immigration; check with the cruise line.
  • It does not replace a visa if your nationality requires one.
Entry points: Air arrivals only; cruise passengers should check with their cruise line.

2Requirements

  • PassportValid for the entire stay.
  • Travel detailsFlight and accommodation details.
  • Email addressA valid one.

Important to know

  • A submitted card cannot be edited; a mistake means a new submission.
  • Without an approved card the airline will likely deny boarding; complete it before check-in.
  • The passport used at the border must match the one on the form.
  • Each traveler needs an individual card; no batch submissions on the government form.
  • The Sustainability Fee may be charged again within 365 days if the system does not recognise a repeat visitor.
